Shotwell
Shotwell is a digital photo organizer designed for the GNOME desktop environment. It allows you to import photos from disk or camera, organize them in various ways, view them in full-window or fullscreen mode, and export them to share with others.

Development
The list of Shotwell tickets shows all features and bug fixes planned for Shotwell.
The next release of Shotwell will be 0.5, which we plan to complete during March 2010. 0.5 is in an early planning phase and the new feature set is undecided, but will likely include at least
- printing photos
- publishing to PicasaWeb
- modifying photos' dates/times
- improved startup time for libraries containing thousands of photos
- importing/publishing in a background thread for smoother performance
- no more dependency on HAL
- publishing to Flickr/Facebook/PicasaWeb on Windows (absent in the Windows 0.4 release)
Contributions to Shotwell are always welcome. We're happy to receive patches containing new features or bug fixes, as well as bug reports, translations, artwork or documentation.
